hcg levels

I have a question about my hcg levels...........do these sound of.  They have doubled from wed to thurs. but now from thurs. to Mon.  it went from 14,000 t0 41,000....Does these seem ok.  So nervous due to past mis.  Thanks

Hi I am about 6-7 weeks pregnant.  My HCG levels on Jan 26, 2009 were 41000, and on Jan 29 they were 70,000.  They did not double.  Should i be worried.  I also had an ultrasound and they saw the yolk but a very very faint heartbeat- the doctor could not confirm the heartbeat and asked me to come next week for another ultrasound

43 - 64 days from conception, your range should be:  25,700 to 288,000

You fall right within that range for your gestation period.  Very good. :)

they were 7360 at 38 past lmp
14,000 at 40 past lmp and 41,000 at 44 days pasl lmp
should they have doubled more?

I have heard that once your levels get to a certain point they take longer to double.  The should double very quickly during the first few weeks of pregnancy, like 3-5 weeks.  I'd say yours look good.  For one thing, they're going up and not down. That's always good!

After 6 weeks, the 'doubling' time is no longer 48-72 hours.  It takes longer.  Don't be concerned.  Your numbers look really good.

hi....I was not aware that the time of the doubling changes at different weeks.  Thanks for the info.  I go for my ultra sound on monday at 7 weeks.....i am so nervous all the time.  Just praying for good news.

You're HCG levels look right on track for your pregnancy.  Congrats!  Have a happy and healthy 9 months.

Are you about 4 weeks along?  There's a big jump in levels from 40 days past LMP to 45 days past LMP.
