hcg shot

Hi ladies....my doctor did an internal "us" yesterday and saw that I had 2 very nice size follicles sitting right there, she gave me an HCG shot to get things moving and told me to go home and "get busy".. well the injection site is very sore, very very sore and is hot... they told me it was normal but it really hurts.. anyone experience this? and has anyone had positive results from this shot? we are really wanting a third child, i had no problem getting prego with them and I just had a mc in Dec 2007, and I am hoping this will work...

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. I had my trigger shot on March 3rd and yes, it was kinda painful and sore afterwards but I think it was due to the fact that I got really tense and tight right before I got it. My doctor even laughed because she knows how terrified I am of needles! The soreness went away after about two days and I'll find out on Saturday (hopefully) if it worked. I'll post again as soon as I get results. I wish you the best of luck and I'll keep you in my prayers. Take care.  : )

I didn't experience any burning at the injection site at all. Hope you feel better.
