heartbeat

hi guys, today I went for my second ultrasound, I was so excited when i saw my little bean. my doctor told my the baby's heartbeat was at 126 and it was a little bit on the low side, but that he wants to see me next week to check on it again. I am really excited because its the first time I heard the heartbeat, but don't know if I should be a little worry about the heartbeat.

That HB rate is just fine. Congrats that is such great news! I am so happy for you. :)

That heart beat is fine-our little one was 120 for a loooong time, and now at the last utrasound (14 weeks) he had shot up to 150 and he is completely healthy-so try not to worry.  Although, the wives tale is slower heart beats indicate boys and for us that was true!  Good luck to you.

How far along are you?  At the first ultrasound that I heard the heart beat, the rate was 120 and I was 6 weeks 5 days pregnant.  At 8 weeks, it was 158 and at 8 weeks 5 days, it was 168.  I think yoru baby's heart rate is just fine.

thank you guys, well yesterday when I got it done I was 7 weeks. so my doctor told me he wanted to see me next week to be on the safe side.  now I have to start looking for a regular gyn since my last visit is next week.

A lot of people told me that and for us it turned out to be true.  My sister has 2 girls and their hb's at 6 weeks were in the 150's!  So there may be some truth to it?  I don't know-from the beginning I just had a feeling it was a boy and it was so who the heck knows.  I think you are fine at 7 weeks-our little one's was the same at that time frame.  Good luck going to the OBGYN.  I have to say I was so scared to leave my RE but I do now like my OB's office and all will be fine!

Not true for me... My daughter was always in the 130's and my son is in the 150's. Just an old wives tale but it is fun to speculate. :)
