I had two miscarriages around 5 or 6 weeks as well.  On my third pregnancy I took baby aspirin from the very beginning (as I think I have thick blood too).  I also took progesterone from weeks 4 through 12 and I had a healthy baby girl!!!  I think the baby aspirin helped, but if they are offering to do the testing, I WOULD DO IT!!!  :)  God bless you!

I had two miscarriages (both very early - around 4 or 5 weeks) and freaked out in my dr's office and was referred on for testing after just two.  Testing showed I have a blood issue for which the prescribed treatment is to take baby aspirin.  I was also told to take progesterone just in case.  I am now at 33 weeks pregnant and doing just fine.  I am 32 years old and had never had any kind of blood issue - have donated blood several times - and never had any kind of issues with clotting or thickness.  But - in testing it was discovered that in fact I do have issues for maintaining a pregnancy.  For me- baby aspirin has made a world of difference.

After 3 m/c you should do some genetic testing. I don't know what's that test that the doctors want to do but you should do some more. I had my 3 m/c this march. After my second one i did some test and i started taking baby aspirin also heparin injections. But even with that it dindn't stoped from m/c. So all is on the egg quality. This last pregnancy was a blighted ovum. But you should see this further. Sometimes is just a small thing. Aspirin is taken when you have blod clots, it makes more blood flow.Good luck

Without undergoing the testing there is no way to know for sure what to do to stop it, if anything. I would recommend that you think about doing testing, even if it is just some blood tests on you because it can reveal a lot.

The baby aspirin helps to thin your blood a little to prevent clots that your body may be sending to the baby.

I was told to take baby aspirin, but my investigative blood work after my last m/c revealed that I should take Lovenox instead (which is an injectible anticoagulant). I would say whether or not you choose the blood work, start the baby aspirin, you take one a day and you can start now and take it every day throughout your pregnancy. It is better to start now and just continue until you actually get pregnant because it can also help with blood flow to your uterus and improve your chances of concieving, or so I've been told  ;  )
