high progesterone levels

I had my 2nd Beta and progesterone levels checked on 7/17. HCG-405 and progesterone 111. This seems very high. I was on Menopur and now I am on Prometrium 2x day. (200mg each)  Does anyone know what can cause high progesterone?  With my son my progesterone was at 32.

Today I am  5weeks 2 days pregnant.

I think your progesterone levels are increasing with pregnancy since your placenta keeps producing it.  I think that high progesterone is not a problem, only low progesterone is.  Ask your ob if you are concerned.

dont know what causes it but i know you can't ever have to much progesterine. Just helps prevent miscarriage. sounds like you have a nice healthy pregnancy.
