home preg tes VS Blood test

What is the difference, I had my transfer 7 days ago, my test came back negative, but I have heard that even if that is negative, the blood test can come out positive, what is the difference?

Ahhhh thanks. That explains why my POA came out negative. I take my blood test Friday. I am hoping for the best. Is it possible since my transfer was a week ago today to have symptoms or am I  just having "wishful thinking" symptoms?

Also, in some women, hcg won't show up in urine for a long time, sometimes a month or two past a missed period.  This is rare but a time when a blood test will tell for sure.

A blood test can detect any amount of hcg in your system, where the hpt can only detect above 25. That's for the early hpt. A blood test is more accurate.
