hoping im pregnant maybe too hopeful?

My hunny and I have been trying to conceive for about 6 months now as ive been told by doctors my time could be running out, and im only 25 so having one more child, and being able to give my partner a child(since mine is from a previous relationship) is very important to me, we want to feel that bond together of bringing a life into the world. So here is my dilemna, my last period was july 1st, i feel pregnant but this has happened before and it ended up being negative, and the time before that i miscarried. I also get irregular periods due to ovarian cysts, but i went 4 months without one and then my doc said this cyst shrunk but not completely so they didnt want to operate cuz ive had 6 surgeries already for the same prob. After the cyst shrunk half way, i had two normal on time periods last normal one was in june. I just want some opinions on if you think i should get  a preg test or wait, im so afraid of another negative, i would be so devestated. Especially because my partners mom thinks im pregnant since my breasts have enlarged quite a bit and my partner is so tired of hearing neg that he gets tired of me telling him that i think i may be pregnant, its just stressing us out so bad when all we want is to have a succesful conception. I appreciate any advice/support

thank you so much all of you! Im going to try having more faith and not think about it as often however its so hard because its part of my lifestyle with taking prenatals and all and staying fit, ive been giving so much effort towards it that its so hard not to stress, if any of you wouldnt mind i could use some friends to stay in contact with to share things going on with each other :)

I'm so sorry. I hope everything works out. My son will be 13 tommorow. Before I got pregnant with him I was told I could never have kids. I just had an iui done on the 25th and I just turned 36 in June. my dr said I wasn't too old and not to give up. Don't give up hope. Good luck!

my cyst grow inside of my ovaries not always on the outside of them, ive had 6 surgeries and have extremely bad scar tissue from them. I ended up going today and im not pregnant, they are going to schedule my 15th ultrasound out of the past 3 months! I pray i can have the chance again to get pregnant :( docs dont think so ive been to 3

hi,

i don't see any reason from what you wrote that your time is running out.  you are 25yo.  boy, don't i want to go back to when i was 25 and i would def have gotten pg then.  other than having irregular periods (which if i am not mistaken is a sign of hormonal imbalance - have you been tested and have flying colors (as in normal levels)?) and maybe your cysts (i've had cysts too - unless you are talking about a diff type of cysts b/c mine was corrected by drugs and if not by drugs, my doc was planning to stick a needle to drain it - no surgeries at all).

i think if you really want to get pg now, why not try an iui.... your chances of getting pg might be higher than doing it the natural way.  and def relax and don't stress out about getting pg or not getting pg... you stressing out might also be getting in the way.

good luck and let us know if your pg test is a BFP.

I'm in a simular situation. I went for IVF and did the first transfer on August 20th. I had my tubes clipped 17 years ago and the doctor suggested IVF.

I had the embryos transferred and have had symptoms but wonder if it's just cause I want it so badly.

Hi Im in a similar situation.  I think that you should do a test because if you keep stressing about it then it cant be healthy for you.  I think at 25 your time shouldnt be running out. Womens fertility shouldnt start to delcline anyway rapid until their 30s onwards. My partner doesnt really like me thinking im pregnant every month either, he just wants to test and get the facts.  I honestly think that if  your last period way july 1st your chances of being pregnant are high as it is well over due.  I hope this has helped and best of luck if and when you do test.
