how frequent should i bd?

need some advice.....this month i am going to cover all bases.....i used to be a 28 day cycle....before mc..now this month i was 30....so i charted my o....and did the calculator....if im 28 i should o on the 11...and if 30 i should o on the 16.....now i thought we should start bd'n on the 11-6/11-17 to cover all days...my question is should we go every other day...or every day? thank you..and congrats to the bfp that happened in october! prayers and hugs to you!

I read that it's better to go every other day, the quality of semen will be better.Plus the semen can live few days inside so you should be fine. It also helps if you use the Clear Plan Ovulation Kit, it will show you exactly when you will start ovulating instead if guessing. And don't forget to check temp too, it will give you a good indicator to whether ovulation has occured or not yet. Good Luck and hope you'll have a BFP in November!

Hi. Are you using opks? We try to bd every other day until I get my +opk & then it's every day till O is confirmed.  (Of course that's our ideal plan, but it doesn't always happen that way!)  Good luck to you !!! :)

I dont think there is really a good method, i think what you feel comfortable with.

I bd a day after ovulation and that was it and got preggo.  I tried it again and didnt work, i tried bd every day until after ovulation and nothing, i also tried every other day and nothing. Neither one of us has fertility problems but i do beleive if its meant to be it would happen.  Now we are jus bd around ovulation days and hope it happens, actually this cycle we only bd on the day of ovulation.

I suggest to do what is comfortable with you, i no bd everyday for me was not comfortable. If you use opks. I would bd the day of the postive opk and then do everyother day.  Good luck and i hope you get a BFP

My fertility doc advised to use ovulation strips and only do it when on the day of ovulation and the day after, he said that would be enough. Basides my other problems - that worked for me.
