how long does it take for your follicles to grow?

Im on 100 Mg of clomid and just went to the doctor yesterday. They told me i have 4 follicles this month 3 in my left ovary and 1 in my right. But they are not the right size yet so i need to go back on friday to see if they have grown so hopefully we can do iui this month. My question is how many days does it take before the follicles stop growing? Sunday was my last day of taking clomid . Can my follicles still be growing 5 days after i finished taking clomid for the month? Any answers would be very much appreciated.

Yes, defintely they still grow 1-2mm each day until ovulation! : )     sometimes on clomid people don't O until day 17, so you can have a lot of time left for them to continue growing! they like them to be anywhere between 18-20mm before they trigger you to ovulate (it varies from doctor to doctor)  GOOD LUCK, 4 is great on clomid! : )
