how many days after iui would you get pregnancy symptoms

Hi All,

I am new to this community. I had my IUI on Feb 24th and 25th. After IUI today is my 10th day and I am seeing little brown discharge. Does this mean I will be getting my periods? I wish I should not get my periods. I am having my pregnancy test this Friday.Can anyone please advise?

Brown discharge could be symptoms of your period coming... or it could be implantation bleeding. They say to waith at least 10 days before you do a home pregnancy test if you had a HCG trigger shot involved with your IUI's. They can sometimes bring on a false positive. Some women test 2 weeks after their IUI (thus the 2ww)  but myself, I was told to wait and test 18 days past the IUI since I have PCOS and have a non regulated cycle.

I think you are actually past 10 days ,if your last IUI was on the 25th ,today would make you day 13 i believe? So basically i think tomorrow you can call dr and schedule test if your AF doesnt arrive? brown discharge is a good sign ,if it is not followed with red blood it may be implantation!? i hope that it is and you get BFP!! keep me updated and sending you a great big wish of BFP!!!

I did an IUI for the first time on 21 January and I have PCOS as well I got my period on the 14th day exactly I saw a little pink on day 12, don't get too anxious but if its past your 14th day and you have not gotton you period I would say this is positive. I am on my second IUI so I lets see if this one works out for me. Good luck and let us know if you got good results. Also if its not successful don't beat up yourself too much sometimes it takes time I was really depressed after getting a BFN but I got through it this stuff makes you really emotional. To answer your question, I had IUI done on Jan 25th so ideally today is my 11th day since in Feb we have 28 days.

Hi everyone...i hadmy IUI last March 29, 2011, LMP last March 11, had a small brown discharge this morning. doeas this mean i didn't make it... so sad...
