how many ivf's is too many?

Does any of you think about the possible damage caused by fertility drugs?Most doctors say they are safe...but how many?4 or 5 attempts,is that too much?What do your docs say?

I'm going to do the 4th IVF and I plan to go till 6th IVF before giving up.  I don't have an answer either, but I do gain weight maybe because of the medicine.

That's a very good question. Unfortunately I don't have an answer for you, but I know that several women on here have done more than 4 IVFs.

Anyone else?
