how soon can I do test

hi after my implants how soon can I do a pregnancy test? after my last IVF I did a test after 10 days this was posative, I 2 week later had a miscarige after levels rising in my blood tests. I have my inplants done on wednesday the 21/04/10 I go on holiday on the 02/05/10  I want to know before I go.  May thanks xx

if you get a very sensitive test you may get a positive that early but i think 14 day or more to be really sure good luck and have a good holiday

i got my first home positive test (very faint)  using a 20IU sensitive test at 7 dpt3dt, but it wasn't a convincing line until 8dpt3dt...
so you may know depending on how sensitive your tests are....

3 Day and 5 Day Transfers
For those who are on their TWW and want to know what is going on in there here is a list for 3 and 5 day transfers.

This is what happens in a 5dt:

-1dpt ..embryo is growing and developing
0dpt... Embryo is now a blastocyst
1dpt....Blastocyst hatches out of shell on this day
2dpt.. Blastocyst attaches to a site on the uterine lining
3dpt.. Implantation begins,as the blastocyst begins to bury in the lining
4dpt.. Implantation process continues and morula buries deeper in the lining
5dpt.. Morula is completely implanted in the lining and has placenta cells & fetal cells
6dpt...Placenta cells begin to secret HCG in the blood
7dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops
8dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops
9dpt...HCG levels are now high enough to be immediately detected on HPT

MY RE says test 10 days after Ovulation and every other day after that.  After positive home test go into DR for a Beta test.  Hope that helps and your have good news!  Keep us all posted!
