Thank you for your comments.   I feel encouraged.   Today is only Day 7 after the transfer.   I took a hpt this morning and it was negative...BUT I went in for my first blood test today as well, and the lab stated it may be too soon to tell with hpt.  Last IVF cycle, I took the hpt on day 9 ...so 2 more days to stay patient.  Next blood test on Thursday.   The lab will not tell me a thing until after Thursday's blood test...to be continued :)

I had donor eggs, and tested 8 days after transfer (blood test) and it showed negative.  10 days after transfer, a urine test showed positive.  11 days after transfer, blood test showed positive too.  5 to 6 days after transfer sounds pretty optimistic.

I am using donor eggs : )  I m/c'd after our first transfer, but am gettin back into things again.  You can probably start testing about 5-6 days after transfer on a 5 day transfer.  A + may not show up that early, but any + you get will be accurate.

Good Luck and Sticky Baby Dust!
