how soon is too soon to take a pregnancy test.

I am stressing a little bit. I have had 5 iuis with no luck. I had my 2day transfer on 3/26/11. I thought things were going well because i felt cramping until today. Today i am cramp free, I also took a home pregnancy test expecting at least a false positive but i got a negative result. Now i dont know what to think. Some help Please!
P.S. my blood test is scheduled for 4/8/11

The earliest I have had a positive result during any of my pregnancies past Ovulation was the following:
baby#1=14dpo
baby#2=about 12-13dpo
baby#3=11dpo
baby#4=10dpo
baby#5=11dpo
baby#6=8dpo
As you can see there is a big difference from one pregnancy to another. Note: baby #3 was a missed m/c in late first trimester and baby#5 's pregnancy ended at 4w2d.

You're testing too soon.  Even if you waited a few days, it could well be too early.  I wouldn't trust a home test until the 6th.  Even then, if it was negative, I would wait for the blood test before believing it.

Do you mean you have IVF with day 2 transfer on 03/26/11?
If so, the trigger should be out of your system today.  It's too early to detect the real HCG from the pregnancy, and only blood work could be more accurate.  I have cramp free, and  "non-pregnant" on digital clear blue on 10dp3dt then "pregnant" on 11dp3dt.  My beta was 70 on the next day.  My son just turn 8 month old this week.  Let pray for the positive beta.
Please keep us posted.
Good luck.
