how to get pregnant when in peri menopause

Hello there,

I haven't had my period for 10 months and the hormone levels indicate I am menopausal. I am only 42 years old and was thinking of having another baby. Is this possible? I am read about Clomid. Would that help to induce my period again? Any other suggestions? Sorry I feel like this is my last chance to have a baby.

Thanks!

i have a friend that is post menopausal in her late 30's and she took clomid and it didn't work for her but she had a d&c and she was pregnant the very next cycle. I think if you don't have a period, the lining in your uterus thickens and needs to be cleaned out. You should ask your dr about it.
