Hi everyone
I'm new to this. I just got an hsg done about a week ago i'm 34 . i was pregnant once and unfortuntaley miscarried(about 10 yrs ago) now we are trying to conceieve and it's not happening for us. I was wondering how long should i keep ttc before i try something else? we've been ttc ever since the hsg about a week ago. I'm nervous about not being able to conceive again. Please someone give me some hope....its all i have to hold on too...we've been trying to ttc for over a yr. i have just one tube cleared.
and they cleared one out or is only one of your tubes already clear? What else did the hsg find, anything? My husband and I tried conceiving for about 8yrs. I saw several doctos and they all kept telling me I was healthy. I knew something was wrong but no one would listen. FINALLY, when we decided to see a fertility specialist, they did the necessary tests to find out what was really going on. It turned out both of my tubes were diseased and it was so severe there was no way for them to clear them. We ended up moving onto IVF and are now 22wks pregnant with twins!
If you have atleast one tube clear, that is good news so don't give up hope! You just need one tube to conceive. What did your doctor suggest when he gave you your hsg results?
,so i just have one tube clear. The doctor just advise to continue ttc. I was just wondering how long before i can become pregnant. by the way congratulations I just can imagine you excitement. :) The doctor just reffered me to a specialist for conceiving advice.
Hi. That's great that you had your HSG & that your left tube is now clear. It's said on here a lot that the few months after your HSG, you have a higher chance of conceiving because it "clears the cob webs", so to speak ;) & it will be especially beneficial for you because your tubes were both blocked
Thanks for the boost of confidence. I definetly needed that. Thanks for keeping me in your thoughts its sweet. its great speaking to individuals who have and are dealing with the same or similar situation. good talking to people who understand. I'll keep the faith. I will indeed continue ttc and hopefully it happens for my husband and I.
Thank you for taking the time to read and provide some advice and boost my confidence.
