hypothalmic ammenorhea clomid?

I have been diagnosed with hypothalmic ammenorhea... tried clomid 50 mg and had a very low 21 day progesterone lab... my MD wants me to bump up the clomid dose to 100 mg.  Will this work, or should I try gonadotropin therapy?

i too have hypothalmic ammenorrhea, my Ob started me right on the inejctions. gonal F good luck and hope everything works out for you, maybe clomid will work, I know usually they try clomid first but because of my age (39) he went right for the big guns
