i can't take this....

so i go for bloodwork and ultrasound after my second round of clomid at 150mg  and, i didn't produce any eggs.... what the ****!??? i'm so freaking frustrated.... i kind of knew it wasn't working.. don't know why.. call it instinct, but i was hoping i was wrong... obviously clomid is not working for me, the nurse mentioned possibly starting injectables.. but does that mean i have to start a whole new cycle? im on cd14 now.... is there anything they could do from this point on? do i really have to wait for another af!!! everyone says don't worry it'll happpen,,,,, and i know it will, i do have faith, but God, they don't know how emotionally draining this is...wondering where did i go wrong, why don't i produce freaking eggs!!! i feel incompetent... i didn't think it was going to be this hard.... i'm just really discouraged... i'm going back for more blood work and ultrasound on monday, i guess we'll discuss what the next step is then.... ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh

fran Im very sorry it didnt work for you.  You are in my thoguhts and prayers

Wishing4#2- does your ins cover clomid IUI?  Im on my 1st round of clomid now and Dr said yesterday if I dont get PG in 3 rounds she will send me to specialist where they will probably do injectables which she says is around $2000.  I know my ins wont cover it so can you explain clomid IUI and possible cost.  Thanks and super sticky baby dust to you both ((sheila))

thanks for the encouraging words... i feel better this morning but still alittle .. you know... blah.  as far as the injectables go...are your treatments geting covered by your insurance? if so, wouldn't they cover it? just wondering cause it seems to be my next step as well. also i heard that you shouldn't take more than 200 or 250mg of clomid... how high was your last dosage? mine was 150mg.. i just hope they don't want to keep me on it for another month, i know it's not for me. good luck to you! this forum definitely helps when you feel like no one understands and your all alone....

I'm so sorry! I know how you feel. I just finished my 3rd clomid IUI round and still no success!!! I was sitting there when the nurse was talking to the lab and found out my test was negative yet again. It sucks. I am exhausted!! We discussed moving onto injectable/IUI, but the doctor and I agreed that since the cost is so much, I might as well move onto IVF. So i am going to. I think it will work! I hope that you figure everything out!
