i dont think it was bad at all. you said if it doesn't harm you or the baby, go for it. that's what i would do too!
So sorry I gave bad advice!!! Well, that teaches me to not butt in when I don't know the correct answer!! LOL!
yes, i am it stinks! i can never seem to get the levels perfect. it is a constant struggle.
tahnks for your feedback mommyof3 and alikat: i had my levels checked 2 weeks ago which TSH was around 6.3 and you are correct i have had everything alse checked including my partner which all is normal but cant conceive the past 13 months i was hypo when i fell pregnant to my son 4 years ago but it was still new then so are you hypo as well alikat?
it isn't a good idea when they are so high. it may work as natural birth control though (it does for me, i can't get pg if levels are over 3!), but if your thyroid isn't regulated it can cause problems in the baby, brain development so i wouldn't do it if you are not at least under 5. when did you last get your thyroid checked? if you go ahead and get success, you need to visit your endo as soon as the test is + to get your tsh under control! if you can do that, it should be ok.
I am not really familiar with the thyroid levels and what it can do to a pregnancy IF someone had high levels and you are pregnant. Can it hurt the baby or you if you become pregnant? If not, GO FOR IT? If there will be no harm to you or your baby I don't see why you couldn't try?!!
Good Luck!
