I have HPV and cervical dysplasia....a large amount of CM is not a sign of this.
Unfortunately there are no signs of HPV except for abnormal paps.
Okay - I may have been wrong...read this.
HPV is the only proven cause of cervical cancer, and is implicated in chronic urinary tract infections, vaginosis and vaginitis (with vaginal discharge).
If you have a vaginitis or vaginosis then it could also be HPV I guess....who knows.
Don't worry yourself though..if you neve had an abnormal pap there really isn't much to worry about. I don't think they can test for HPV unless an abnormal pap is registered....lot's legal mumbo jumbo about testing for HPV unless reason to believe you may have it
My CM is differnt every month (although I usually have none). Sometimes it does seem thick as you said, but you might not be drinking enough water. Also, you said more came when you walked, which is normal. Any type of exercise will make the CM more prevalent on your underwear or tp. I'm sure you're fine. It seems that while TTC, we really look into every little thing, but don't worry. You can try again next month, sorry DH is out of town :(
