I agree with everyone else.  I did my very first shot in my thigh.  It did not hurt me, just didn't feel right.  The next month, I did it in my stomach and did not feel a thing.  Sometimes people see bruising, but I did not see any.  This month I have given myself 10 shots.  Be careful to switch the injection sites though.  Pinch the fat in your stomach and it will just slide in without feeling anything.  That is how it works for me.

when I do IM (muscle) injections i get sore when i walk.. otherwise i've been doing the follistim in the stomach to make sure and get it in the fatty tissue..and its easy to get there and doesn't hurt at all!  good luck! : )

I've hurt myself a couple of times too when I injected in my leg.  FYI, I found out after many cycles of injections that the stomach is the best place to inject because it absorbs the drugs better - it hurts less too.

Good luck

Depending on the drug and how you react yes.  I have used every drug on the market so I forget which one hurt the most but I had one that when I would walk the muscle would move against the swollen skin  and I would die in agony.  I switched those to shots to my stomach and it wasnt so bad.
