If AF did not show, I would guess that you did not ovulate.  Did RE test your progesterone to see if you ovulated or are you charting your temps?  Did you use a HCG trigger shot?  Some women on clomid will develope a mature follicle but not release it on clomid.  The chance of this increases at doses of 100 mg or more.

i dont know what ur talking about it...ive been on clomid since april my RE has been checking me on with u/s and clomid checks...i did get a trigger shot on the first time i was on clomid thas when i develeped follicles...last round nothing happen i dint develop any follicles..so far i have ovulated once on clomid..being that last month it was a bust dint ovulate and i was 5 days late for af when i called my doc. i knew i wasent preggo..thas why he had me start provera im suppost to take 100mg clomid this month as soon as af starts...i was just wondering is its common for people who are on clomid to experience af not showing up thas all...just because u get ur period dosent mean you ovulate every month! but thanx for the info.

I too took Provera to start AF.  It took almost two weeks to start after the last pill.  I'm a little confused about the question you asked though.  Does Clomid delay AF?  It shouldn't.  You should be taking Clomid when you are on AF.  I am now 12w2d prego.  I know that my dr. had me on several other meds besides Clomid alone.  Are you currently taking anything else with the Clomid?  I was on metformin, estradiol and prochieve gel.  Since I am high risk, I am still currently using the prochieve gel 'til week 16, I think.

Good luck and hope AF visits soon so you can start with Clomid again!

I didn't say you couldn't get af without ovulation, I'm merely pointing out the fact that missing or delayed AF 'can' be the result of not ovulating.

I'm going to send you a link...

http://www.prochieve8.com/aboutus/default.aspx

Look at the bottom part of the website.  You will see where it shows if you take Clomid by itself or with Estradiol and Prochieve gel, the percentage of pregnancies will increase to 100%!!!

That's why I asked you if you were also taking Estradiol and Prochieve?

I only took Clomid for two months, then BFP!

Good luck and I hope you get your BFP real soon!
