is it safe to have intercourse after miscarriage which was 3wks ago

had a mc 3 wks ago,had blood test last tue and my hcg level was 4 is it safe to have unprotected sex ,would like to get pregnant again soon

my doc told me as long as I was not bleeding anymore, then it will be ok to have intercourse. It has nothing to do with your hcg level.
And don't worry about trying 'too soon', if your body is ready, you will get pregnant. The only concern about having intercourse 'too soon' is the risk of infection. Just wait until the bleed is clear (if you have not already).

i was told to wait 3 months the first time we miscarried and we ignored it just b/c we had a feeling like it was right and we got pregnant the next month! i say go for it if you feel well enough! best of luck!

the doctors usually say wait about 6 weeks but i think that rule has since changed, listen to your body, if your still tired and sore don't do it
