i am not sure. i asked for clomid again. since the first time i did get pregnant. i was reading up on questions like mine. and most of the women say not to take it before your period. if i do take the clomid before my period...what will happen? i dont know what provera is...a lot of women seem to have taken it before clomid. so why did my doctor put me on clomid first? i so confused with all this!

Well, in my opinion, it would make more sense to have you take provera (or similar) to get your period started first and then start the clomid. If you haven't had a period since October, I'm not sure how well any eggs would develop at this point...until you get your period and start a new cycle....but of course, I'm not a doctor :-)

By the way, in case you're not familiar with provera, it's basically just a progesterone supplement that tricks your body into thinking it ovulated, and therefore starting a period a few days after you finish the pills.
