is this normal ?

Hello I am 23 year old and i was 3 weeks late with my period then i hate sex with my bf & i was getting really sharp pains in my stomach that i couldn't move for hours. a couple of days later i took my period on the 3rd oct that lasted for 4 days which was normal then on the 17th oct i took my period again & was still gettin sharp pains but it was'nt like a normal period i am scared to go to the doctors could you please tell me what this could be ? i am very worried ? i am trying to concevie

For such symptoms the first possibility that should be ruled out is of an inevitable abortion. You can confirm it by getting your HCG levels checked.In case of pregnancy loss,the value of HCG will return to a non-pregnant range(<5 mIU /L) about 4 - 6 weeks after a pregnancy loss. Other method of confirming whether you had a miscarriage is by getting ultrasouind uterus done. This will differentiate the cause of this bleeding as bleeding due to pregnancy loss or intermenstrual bleeding.
