I also did 24 hours of bed rest after a 5 day transfer.  I got a BFP 9 days later...
Good luck to you!

I did about 24 hours after my 5-day transfer, and it was a successful cycle. Best of luck!

I was told to do a 48 hour bedrest.  I'm not sure that it was intended to give the embryo a chance to implant as much as to give the uterus a chance to calm down after the manipulation of the cervix with transfer.

After 5 day transfer I did 24 hrs bedrest--bfn
After 3 day transfer (twice) I did 72 hours--bfn and the next time 48 hours--bfn but chemical
Research has shown bedrest doesn't necessarily help as long as you take it easy but most drs recommend it anyway.
After my three day transfer I was in bed til day 5 post-retrieval but implantation (I can tell from the implantation cramps) was day 8 post-retrieval so I don't see how it helped me to be in bed all that time!
