just went to the bathroom and had brown spotting...I think it's over

So this would be the same timing that I started bleeding last cycle on my IUI when I had the chemical.  Except last cycle I had my beta what would've been yesterday and got the 9.0.  This time with my IVF I wait until tomorrow.

At least last time it was red at first, and filled up the TP twice.  This time it was a couple of tiny brown smears, but we'll see - maybe I just caught it when it first came out.

The strange thing is I have NOT been having much cramps.  I know many women who get pregnant do, but I thought it may be a good thing since I definitely get lots of cramps before af normally, and last time when I had the chemical I was getting cramps.  I've been getting weird pains down there, but not much in the way of genuine af cramps.

I keep going back and forth - utter despair to a bit of hope.  I can't take this anymore

I'm so sorry you're going through this.  I know how intense it can be - the running to the bathroom, checking how much blood is there...  It's so nerve racking!  It's happened to me twice now, and this last time I even got a positive digital test before my beta so I was sure it was it!  All I can say is just try to relax.  As far as your tests - since you just peed 5 minutes before it makes sense that only the first one was positive this early in the game.  Try to hang in there for your blood test Monday.  I hope the bleeding stops before then.  I will say that when I told people about my bleeding you would not BELIEVE the number of people who said "oh yeah w/my pregnancy or w/so and so's pregnancy I bled so much!  Don't worry"  Not just people on this forum - but anyone I told seemed to know someone (even the woman drawing my blood at my beta).  So just try as best you can, as impossible as it may seem, to stay calm.  That is the absolute best thing you can do for yourself right now.  I really hope this works for you!

I woke up two days ago to use the bathroom and had some bright red blood on the tp.  thenn it turned to a maroon/dark pinkish color.  I was off and on the first day, just a little on the panty liner.  Now the last few hours its a little more, with some chunks, (tmi).  I had iui done on the 16th and 18th, used follistim for a few days prior and then the hcg shot was given on the 16th.  My period isn't due yet but with all those hormones who knows.  I have never had bright red blood just prior to starting my period.  I have had some maroon colored spotting for a few days and then i would get my period.  Hmm, i did a pg test and one had a faint line and think i held it in the urine too long so i urinated in a cup and held it in for 5 seconds and they were false.  then i read you have to hold it in the urine cut for 20 seconds so i pee'd 5 minutes later and put it in the cup for 20 seconds and it was negative.  Ugh.  I'm so frustrated.  I'm wondering if it's too early to test.  The MD said if I dont get my period in two weeks call so, according to two weeks from the iui my period is due on monday.  So has anyone had implantation bleeding like this and how long did it last?  It's going on 4 days and now i noticed there is more intermittent, cant think of how to describe it.  Like tissue that is dark maroon on the tp.  I'm 40 and really want this to work.  This is killing me.

Hi my dear,

I'm at almost same siyuation, today my period should be comes and I saw the brown spot and I floored and start to crying, (this month my first round clomid 100mg and HCG shot dc 12) any way I'm very depressed and worry , my spot exact like every time my period comes that's why I'm so upset without any hope.
But I thinks your s is different because you have not any spot in your regular period so be positive ,I cross my finger for you.

I did a FRER this morning and it was a BFN.  However, I have not spotted since - we'll see if I get anymore.  It was literally 2 little tiny brown streaks.  Of course I flipped out because of what happened after my IUI with the chemical.  It was 3 painful days of spotting before I got the second beta confirming I lost it.  But like I said, before I was getting some red blood here and there and it started with red blood.  Today it was just those 2 brown streaks.  As long as it stays brown I will try to stay calm and keep my hopes up.  Of course, as soon as I wrote that about not getting cramps, I started to get cramps - but I know that doesn't mean anything.  This is just going to make the wait until tomorrow that much more tense.

Alt: When I got my BFP in 2006, I had a little spotting. So I took a p/g test right away and it was +. And I had him in Dec!! So, My thought is since it's just a little bit and it's not bright red, there is still a really good chance :) Keep yourself positive and good luck hun!!! Let us know what your beta is. Good Luck Tomorrow!!!!

Hugs :)
