laparoscopy

Hi, i wanted to ask that is laparoscopy recommended for me if all my labs including the tube test are clear? I am 37 and TTC, i don't have pain or any other symptoms of endometriosis. The doctor has recommended laproscopy before i go for IUI but i am scared and don't want to undergo lapro. is it really necessary ? please help

It's completely up to you....if you don't want to have it done, then don't do it.  Doctors can suggest different procedures, but it is up to you to make the decision as to what is right for your body.

I would think it's not a bad idea to have the lap done if all other tests come back normal. With a lap, they can see things like ovarian cysts or polyps that an ultrasound can't see. I just had my lap done a month ago, and nothing was found, but it's best to rule that out. Good luck!!
