low estrogen after ivf transfer

My estrogen level was low at my last blood test which was 5 days after a 5dt. It was 47 and they said it should be around 100. They gave me supplements to take twice a day. This happened to me last try and it didn't work. Has anyone else had low estrogen like me and still had a positive pregnancy test?

After IVF I was also not monitored for estrogen at all. They used to test HCG and progesterone all the time.

But I believe RE know patient's all history and what level needs to adjusted it vary person to person. I think if they told u to take some estrogen then u should take it don't think too much about it they know what they are doing.  I had same confusion with my progesterone all the time but I follow what they told me to do but make sure to ask your questions and  get reasonable answers .

Heather is correct, after my IVF I was not monitored for estrogen at all.  I had estrogen supplements once a day but that wsa it.  That was because I requested and not because my RE insisted

Thanks! I'll try not worry too much. They said progesterone was good so that makes me a little more hopeful.

My levels were actually never tested after transfer...but according to my RE, estrogen levels are not as important in the 2WW as progesterone. He even said that some studies have shown that estrogen supplementation really doesn't make much of a difference in IVF cycles, while progesterone of course is crucial. He still prescribes estrogen, though, just as a precaution.

So try not to worry too much...and best of luck to you!
