low heart beat..help!

I am 7 weeks 5 days in my IVF pregnancy and had my second viability ultrasound today.  Last week they just saw the sac but nothing in it and today they saw a little flickering (the heartbeat) but the tech said that the heartbeat was a little low.  I should've asked for the number so you guys could help me.  I have another u/s next week and don't know if i should be worrying. I get progesterone injections every night and don't know if that is keeping me from spotting... I have had no spotting or major cramps or anything (except for sore boobs ofcourse!).  Why couldn't i be like all "natural" pregnancies where you have your first u/s later and you rejoice at the fact that you have a little life inside you....every week i anticipate the new results of the u/s...Did anyone have a low heartbeat at around 7-8 weeks and things turned out for the best? Any words of wisdom are soooo appreciated at this time!

I can't begin to understand what you are going through...maybe the heart is just learning to pump...I pray that you and your little one will be fine and that next week we will be able to rejoice with you on how healthy your baby is.

If you research this, you will find that sometimes the low fetal heart rate turns around.   I know how f'ing hard it is to get pregnant and then have to worry about everything single thing.   You could probably call and get the fetal heart rate monday.  

They like it if the HB is over 110 at that mark.  

I certainly hope this doesn't sound bad, but I guess you know that a low fetal heart rate isn't the greatness new.   I had an ultrasound at about 7w2d and the FHR was 89, to say the least, my outcome wasn't good, BUT!! and this is a big BUT -  I had funky flecky like pinkish discharge when I wiped. So if you not having any bleeding/spotting etc.  that's a good sign!!  My hcg level dropped a lot in a manner of days from the 16,000 range to 7,000

Call on Monday, get the FHR and I'm sure they're going to check you again, ask them to check your betas again to make sure still rising.    Google - low fetal heart rate and your gestational age and see what you can find.    Good luck!!

Isn't that the WORST ever??? I got my first US on Thursday. The sac was measuring 6 weeks (on time) but the FHR was only 89. My dr. said it could go either way, 50/50. SO, NOW I WAIT, until next Thursday to get another US.  You should be able to call your OB and they can tell you the HR. I am on 100mg progesterone too. I asked this ? in the Dr. forum, he just hasn't answered it yet. I hope your HR is higher than mine, I'll keep an eye out for your posts. Good luck!
