Hello I was on clomid for 6 months and it didn't work for me. My fertility doctor put me on leterzole, he says it has 10% more chance then clomid. I have took it just once so far. Hope this helps. Good luch

Hey, the femara didnt work for me, but it did make lovely sized eggs every month. I do know alot of people who have fallen pregnant on it. So it worth the try. Clomid i reacted badly to and had to stop it half way though the cycle. I never had any reactions to the femara but good effects. the only bad thing is that i think i stopped it too early before i got pregnant. (i gave up and needed a break)
Good luck hun

hey you guys, this is helpfull, i had a cyst last year removed, and another recently, ive been telling my doctor now, for 5 years, that ive been trying for a baby, he is just interested in removing cysts!! i really want to go in there with a head full of information so i can really talk to him, and know what im talking about, its not the point on getting something stronger than clomid, i just dont want to delay the process any longer by receiving another cyst if i try clomid, im sure my doctor would say no to this anyway, but its all i know! so i want to go in and ask "can i try this". but i dont know what "this" is!!! im definatly going to change doctors after my next appointment, if he doesnt help me, its so frustrating! its as if he doesnt listen to a word i say, change is good!
Femara?? i will need to google that one!!
ive heard of gonal f, need to google that one aswell!
Durban81, you say you were on Femara, did it work???

Femara is another option...doesn't thin ur lining and you have less chance of cysts.  Good luck.

ok most say they can have the side effect of cyst but  that is because it happend in some of the women who were on the meds. I am on the shots ( gonal f )  they cost a lot more then clomid if u dont have insurance. i paid 20 per month with clomid using walmart or kroger with out insurance but my shots are 250 per 300units of the gonal f with out insurance.  it is stronger then clomid. I would talk to a ferlity dr if u want anything stronger then clomid. most normal obs will do clomid but not anything stronger. GL.  email me if u have any more questions.

im still looking for some other fertility treatment that I can speak to my doctor about, i just need a few names so i can google it on my own, my doctor isnt that very helpfull!

cough syrup does sound a little stupid, but i will try anything these days, something so small like that would propbably just do the trick!!! im going to try it!!

how common are cysts while using clomid? im too scared to go there.

thanks st33I...

hiya. iv been doing alot of looking on the internet about this sort of thing. there is a cough syrup called Robitussin (guaifenesin cough syrup) i know it sounds stupid because it is cough syrup, but as it has guaifenesin in it, it clears not only the mucas on your chest but also makes your cervical mucas thinner and runnier so the seman can swim through better. look it up on google. but make sure you get the one with guaifenesin in it as the other ones can dry up the cervical mucas . hope this helps ..
