menopause or pregnant

i am 43 years , i had tubal ligation 6 years ago.  my period is late about a month  .  is this menopause or is it a possible that i could be pregnant ?

Hi. If you had sex around the time you ovulated, and your period is a month late, then you could be pregnant. The only way to know is to take a test. If you're pregnant, you would be 6 weeks along now and the 2nd line on any test would show up within seconds. Are you trying to conceive? I hope it works out the way you want.
