metformin

Hi my friend is taking Metformin for PCOS and her question was has anyone gained weight while taking this? and what are your experiences with this medicine.

oh yes when u have PCOS you gain alot of weight i gained about 50lbs but now with metformin i have lost about 15lbs. The only thing i hate it makes me sick. Stomach achs and makes u go.(sorry if tmi) I've been in provera, clomid and metformin and still not pregnant but now my period is arriving without meds thank God.
