miscarriage or false negative

Hi! This past week (on Wednesday) I started bleeding. Naturally was scared to death. I had no bleeding with my first child. I have taken several positive pregnancy test at home, and one at the doctor...BUT after bleeding my over the counter test said negative. I hadn't really started to feel real pregnant anyway, I was only 6 1/2 weeks pregnant so I can't say if I have lost any symptoms. Has anyone experienced a false negative after bleeding?!? My bleeding just didn't seem heavy enough to be a miscarriage?  Is it possible to have a negative pregnancy test so soon after a miscarriage and it be accurate?  My negative test came 3 days after bleeding started.

Have you called your doctor? I would say this definitely qualifies.

yes, I have a appointment tomorrow.  I feel certain it was a miscarriage, but thought I would try and find others that might have some insight...thanks for posting!
