I'm so sorry you are going through this. Echoing what others have said, you should contact your doctor. I've miscarried three times. I had a D&C the first two times, and he third time everything resolved iteself on its own because it was so early. I had heavy bleeding that third time (when I did not have the D&C and it passed naturally).
That said, some women do bleed during pregnancy and go on to have healthy babies. (A friend of mine had a cyst that bled throughout her pregnancy.) So, you should see your doctor either way.
Good luck.
Hi there
I'm sorry for what your going through right now I had s silent m/c at 10 weeks I was 8 weeks I had to have a d&c .
I really do think you should go a&e and get checked out!' it mightn't be what you think my best friend had periods up to four months of her pregnancy!! my thoughts and prayers are with you xxxx
Hello i'm so sorry you are going through this, it brings it all back to me, the same happened , i had some bleeding but my hcg levels were going up, stopped bleeding and still going up, then i took a hpt and got a very, very faint line so had bloods done again and showed i miscarried, level below 5. was very upsetting and i'm sorry if this is what is happening to you, i pray maybe its not and is a "vanishing" twin but realistically you know your own body. Little consolation but you'l find so many of us have had this and got such support from this forum, never give up hope , it may be still good news, lots love melissaxxx
My #'s went from 115 to over 1200 and then they started dropping. I starting m/cing at around 7 weeks. I pray this isn't what is happening to you, but wanted to give you my experience.
Hugs!
M
I too had a miscarriage back in June. My numbers went down, then up, then down, and up again. The highest numbers I got were in the mid 800's. I had an ectopic pregnancy and had a lot of pain with it. My understanding is that a natural miscarriage will have your hcg numbers go down more quickly. If you do d/c it may go down faster. If you need to do the methotrexate shot, it may take longer. For me, it took 6+ weeks for my numbers to get down below 5 again.
Reasons for numbers going up and down include miscarriage, blighted ovum, and ectopic pregnancy. Those are the most common anyway. Hope that helps. And so sorry you are going through this...I know how tough it is. Hang in there. It will happen in God's time.
call your doctor and have them repeat the blood test today.
sorry you are going through this, but it's not over until it's over.
try to relax and stay positive.
I understand your frustration. This is the hardest thing anyone can possibly go through. it does sound like a mc but I had a hard time believing it myself and so I went to the ER where they did and u/s and blood work to check my levels. For me, yes, it was a mc. Im so sorry and I wish I could tell you more.
