misoprostol and mifepristone:Only bleeding,no clots!

Hello everyone,

My pregnancy couldnt survive as the US showed no growth after 4.5 weeks.When I was 7.5 weeks,my doc asked me to go for the termination.
She gave me mifepristone on Wednesday and asked me to meet her again on Friday.On friday she gave me misoprostol 200mg 4 tablets each to be taken orally with a 6hr gap.
I had started bleeding slightly on Thursday evening.I started bleeding heavily after Friday,but had no passing of tissues or clots as my doc said.There was cramping as well.Its just bleeding.Its Sunday today and I am worried if this process has been unsucessfull for me?
Should I worry about no clots.Would this mean I need to go for a D&C to remove the tissues?

Hi,
i dont know ur current status. still if u didnt have clots, dont delay, immediately go to ur doctor for scanning. If necesary doctor will ask u to go for D&C or suction curettage as per condition. dont panic. its good to do D&C to get pregnant again. on the other hand any infection or tissue remains is rather hazardous.
believe me, u are sure to get pregnant within three month. my prayers are with u always.

I passed out a single piece of clot(sort of flesh)in the same week.But that was it.The bleeding too ended after 3 days.The next friday I met by doc,who asked me to repeat the same dose in case there are few more left to pass.
I ddnt bleed nor did I pass anything.After a week I took a test on UPT...it was almost negative(very very very faint).The USG showed no residual foetal content.
I met my doc today.She says lets stop all the treatment until next two normal cycles.
She even asked me to reduce my weight ( I am 5.3" and weigh 68).She said I would conceive naturally soon.I was surprised at her statement.Wont I need letroz anymore?I thot I wouldnt ovulate naturally since I had PCOD.
Anyways my focus now is on losing weight and waiting for a normal period.
