A morula on day 3 is great!! Your embies are developing nicely. Usually embies start compacting late day 3 - day 4.
I'd be really happy with that!
If by compact embryo transfer you mean the embryos were compacting, that is totally normal for afternoon of day 3 -- it's a good sign when your embryos are dividing and stage appropriate! Good luck!
hello, hope things going well for you-after my scare last week of bleeding everything is going good now, stopped bleeding on thursday(just a little when i wiped on fri)
and had blood test to show hcg rising very nicely and so is progesterone, having a scan at early preg unit on wed just to see if everything in order after bleeding, they will be able to see sac and might even get a faint heart beat as i'l be 6 weeks then. we have another scan following week when we will get scan picture and def get the heart beat. keep me posted how things progress for you and i'l update you too. melissaxx
I was going to ask the same thing - what is a compact stage embryo? Is that just another name for a 3 day embryo? If it is, then it is not good or bad, and the I'm sure your doctor had reasons behind doing a 3 day transfer as opposed to a 5 day transfer. Usually, they decide on a 5 day transfer if there are a lot of fertilized eggs and that basically helps them pick the healthiest ones.
I had a 5 day transfer in April (my 1st IVF) with an A+ quality embryo, and just like Mel4141, I got my BFP on May 3rd and am now 5 weeks pregnant! Best wishes :)
whats compact stage transfer? never heard of that. I had ivf through april and had 1 embryo transfered 19th april, it was a normal 3 day transfer and this is our first and will be only attempt at ivf as it is so expensive in england. Anyway we have been very fortunate to get BFP on 3 rd may and i'm now 5 weeks pregnant. good luckxx melissa
