I am currently on day 9 of an IUI with injections of follitism and am looking for a cycle buddy because I know the 2 week wait is gunna be really hard and would love a new friend. so if you wanna be friends just message  :-)

Hi new friend lol . It is actualy IUI not IVI and what it is in intra utirine insemination and basicaly what it means is that they are going to inject my DH washed sperm directly into my unterus once i have some mature eggs and my eggs get mature with the injections that I have been giving myself daily and then when the RE says thay are mature i will get a trigger shot to release the eggs and my DH sperm is injected by him. Hope that was easy enough to understand lol. I also have pcos and also tried 8 rounds of clomid that did not work for me so i am hopeing and praying that the IUI does because it is my last hope I can not afford IVF and I can only afford to do an IUI once a year due to the fact that i am in az and each IUI including Meds is about $3000 . So enopught about me how long have you been TTC ? And how many rounds of clomid have you taken ?

Only just started taking clomid 18th nov for 5 days, but been ttc for a yr. lol yeh i understand better now, sounds very hard. but for me i think ive ovulated cos feeling sik wen i wake up, n my chest is killing and the werid pains hoping il catch very soon, Im on my mobile but when i get on computer il add u as a friend.

Hey Jenny, I would like to be your 2WW buddy.  I'm on day 8 with injections of Gonal F.  Had my first US yesterday, doing good so go back on Friday.  This is our First IUI... A bit nervous.  My IUI will either take place on Monday or Tuesday.  When do you have your IUI?

If you all do not mind how do the injects make you feel during your cycle? I know the clomid made me feel really full aove the pelvic during and after O.

Hello babydreams,
The injections actually make me feel good! Just today I really started feeling the fullness and tenderness in my lower abdomen.  I go in on Friday to see how my Follicles are doing.  Have you been doing Ultra sounds with the Clomid? When is your IUI?

Goodluck on ur iui. I had clomid  hcg and iui and it worked for me and now pregnant. I know 2ww is really hard but try to take it easy everything will work out for you for sure. The longest wait for me was when i went to the doctor to confirm if im really pregnant and they just told me to wait for their call. As if i waited for another 2 weeks but only 1 hour and a half later they told me that im really pregnant! So hang in there girl!

After starts all this TTC and clomid and how it made me fell during and after O I thought mayb injectables were worse since so many have more follicle with injects.  If you used clomid is it comparable? I did my IUI on the 23 of Nov. I had a +OPK sunday, they had hubby come in early monday and hubby had to go produce :) and I went  at 11 for IUI.   waiting on the table horriable, I have 6 days till AF and have held out for HPT.
BHrenn: was it your first round? how did you feel during ovulation and after?

babydreams, Our RE never Recommended Clomid to us, so I don't know if it's comparable or not.  Is this your fist IUI? I'm rootin for ya!! 6 Days :)
I have 6 follicles as of yesterday measuring around 10mm. Hoping for 2 to 3 of them to turn into 18-20mm.  I go back on friday for my next US.   Congrats BHrenn, I also would like to know if you have any tricks ;)

I have not felt anything being on the injectables i was really nervus that it would hurt or i woukd be sick but nope not a thing i feel just fine when i took the clomid i actually think i felt worse and more irriated

Yes this is my first time of iuiDuring my ovulation i just felt lil cramps and a week later my nipples became so sensitive.  I took it easy after my iui i took off work and also stayed home the next day:-) I dont a have a trick though :-) I just happened and still cant believe it after almsot 2 years of ttc.  Did u take any hcg shots before iui?

I haven't had my IUI yet.  I go in tomorrow for my 2nd US to see how my follies look :)  IUI should be Monday or Tuesday.  Then the lovely 2WW.... I've been doing acupuncture 2 times a week for the past month and will continue to do so.  How many mature follicles did you have at time of IUI?

Hey im only on clomid but started feel ill over the past few days, cant wear a bra my chest is that heavy and sore, got pains in abdominal like strong cramps, but ive nt been told have to go for scans i just get my blood taken nxt week, im new to this whole site could sum1 tell me what all the words are that u use.

Nov9 I had 14-16 mm 4 follicles when i had my u/s and gave me hcg shot that day. I had iui nov11. Nov18 progesterone level. I took hpt Nov27 and was positive. Nov30 went to RE and confirmed pregnant. After iui just take it easy and relax. Just after a week you will feel signs esp breast changes, sore nipples and frequent urination and constipation and bloated. If u feel those then treat urself as if ur pregnant.

I just got done taking Follistim this past Tuesday and had my HCG shot on Wednesday and I just had an IUI today! I'm not one for needles so I had my husband give me my shot everyday (almost 2 weeks) I'm just crossing my fingers that this IUI works!! Goodluck!!

how exciting I am still waiting for my ovaries to respond to the follitism i go to the doctoe agan on monday so hopefully there is some change. I was able to give myself the shots with no probalem after allthe poking and proding from all the fertility test i think i am getting use to it lol thats pretty sad . i will keep my fingers crossed for you too and wish me luck :-) When can you test to see if IUI worked ?????

My ovaries didn't respond to Clomid...I reached my max on that so that's why I moved on to the shots and I really didn't think Follistim was going to work but it definitely has! I actually responded to it too well...I have 3 follies (18,16,16) as of this past Wednesday! I'm excited I just hope at least one takes. You are definitely braver than me, I can't give myself a shot but I don't mind it when other people give it to me...weird I know. I am totally crossing my fingers, toes, and eyes for you! I go back this coming Wednesday for a booster shot because I haven't ovulated yet so we'll see then! Babydust to you! Update me on your progess! Goodluck and lots of baby dust to you!
