need a miracle

a friend of mine was diagnosed with salpingitis nodosa, a condition in which the tubes becomes scarred. preventing pregnancy, and causing ectopics. she was tryin for 2 years before getting the diagnosis. she started her process for ivf around a month ago. they were suggesting that she remove her tubes because of the risk. her dr told her that her chances of becoming pregnant, and it not being ectopic was almost impossible. in the meantime she continued having intercourse, with the thought of becoming pregnant out the window. today after being 3 days late, she tested twice and got 2 bfp. she's very worried about an ectopic pregnancy. at the fact that she really wants to be pregnant, as well as the risk that comes along with it. im just curious to know if theres anyone out there who has had a tubal problem, but still went on to have a healthy baby. how early can an ectopic be detected? and is there anything that can help prevent it? please, any advice and encouragement would be very helpful.
