donor sperm with clomid and have had no success my RE is recommended moving on to injectables (follistim) does anyone know if injectables will increase my chances!!!!!!
Or have any advice
follistim is the next step for many of us. myself included. clomid is easy since it is pills and it is cheaper. so that is the first try. if not then injectibles which is just more aggressive, expensive, and requires more monitoring. goooooddd luuuuccck :)
, I started at 50 mg and went up to 100mg and the side effects where terrible when I was taking clomid ,so I hoping to produce atleast 3-5 good follicles
My RE believes that I don't not respond well to clomid because usually on 100mg your suppose to atleast produce more than one follocle being that I have not been diagnosed with anything.
that way, then that will also help increase your chances. And, in my experience at least, they cause less side effects than clomid (but on the flip side, they're more expensive and not quite as convenient as just taking a pill). As for only producing follicles on the left side, that could just be a coincidence, since you've only done three cycles...or your left side could be a bit more dominant than the right. Either way, though, I don't think that's a big issue.
