need some reassurance:)

Hi,
  I told you earlier that I've now had two miscarriages and am currently starting my 6th week of pregnancy...I'm soooooooo scared of miscarrying again.  Saturday night I had a gush of blood and went to the ER room...they said everything looked fine and that my HCG was 4200.  Well I went in today to my RE (Wed morning) and my HCG was 7900 and estrogen and progesterone looked great.  My ultrasound showed a gestational sac, yolk sac, and what looked like a small fetal hook (I'm guessing the fetal pole)...You'd think I'd be thrilled but I'm still soo scared.  It would appear that my numbers doubled in 3.5 days...my question is...isnt that slow??? Like are things slowing down?? I just miscarried last time at 6.5 week and the time before at 5.  I'm trying to be positive but I just dont know....does an HCG of about 8000 starting your 6th week sound okay?

If everything looks good try not to worry.  Once hCG hits 6K it rises slower and doesn't really double anymore.  That's what my doctor told me.  Congrats on your pregnancy.

I'm sure you'll be fine.  Just try not to add too much stress by worrying.  Your little bean is just fine :-)

I know it is scary, but your numbers are really good!!  Try to not worry so much (impossible, I know).  Your pregnancy will seem like it takes forever, but in the whole scheme of things it is a very short period in your life, and you will want it to be memorable.  Once you get past your first trimester, hopefully you won't worry so much.

i know it's easier said than done but try to relax.....your numbers look good.  I need to take my own advice and am trying.  hang in there you'll be out of the 1st trimester before you know it :O)  ((Sheila))
