negative hpt and positive beta?

has anyone had a negative on hpt and a positive on beta..  i am 12 dpiui and neg. hpt and i go for beta tomorow morning.. i feel soo defeated already  :(

Don't feel bad sometimes you cannot detect the pregnancy so early on a regular test.The blood work is more accurate. And it can be positive. Good luck to you.

I did! I actually took two HPT's and they were both negative. Once I had my bloodwork done, those both came back positive. Don't lose hope ~ it's VERY possible to have that happen. I only know cuz it did with me about 3 wks ago. I was so bummed and losing hope but after reading all of these posts, I see how many women do that :-)
