I went to my new dr. today.  I love her!  She told me that she didn't think there is any reason that I can't have a healthy pregnancy in the future!  So, that made me feel really good!  I go back on wednesday to have an ultrasound, because my previous dr. had never done one, so we will be able to tell what my ovaries look like as far as cysts go.  I also go on friday to have more bloodwork done, to check my insulin level.  If my insulin level is abnormal I will take metformin for 3 months and then start on the clomid again.  If the insulin level comes back normal, I can take the clomid again in december.  She did inform me that my CD21 progesterone from last cycle was 8.9.  She said she would like to see it above 10 on an ovulatory cycle.  My previous dr. never told me a number, he just said it was good....when really it wasn't that good.  I just wanted to give everyone an update, and hopefully I will get more good news in the weeks to come.

Good for you!  My RE wants it to be above 12 on an ovulatory cycle...I think every Dr. is different.
Good luck on all of your tests.  If one comes back abnormal, you can always have it redone.  My prolactin came back pretty bad so my RE redid the test a week later and it was completely fine.

It will be reassuring to know something about my insulin level.  But, I'm really hoping that it comes back normal..I don't want to wait 3 months to take clomid again.

Waiting for 3 months would be sooo hard!!  I hope your test comes back normal.  Sounds like you got a good doc.  My first obgyn looked like a cheerleader so I switched right away.  I like to have an informative doc who does not treat you like a child. Good luck!!!

Good for you!!!! I'm always leary of drs that don't like to discuss the #'s and what they mean. It is OUR body and OUR lives that they affect. Helping to understand the problems helps to understand the remedy. Open communication with you dr is very important. I am glad you found a good one and are on the right path!
