no semen.....

Okay as some of you may know today I had my post cordial test which means I had sex the night before I saw my RE Doc. so that he could see if my mucus was too strong for my dh sperm.

After he looked at it under the microscope he said that my mucus was thick and that he didn't see any semen and that was rare to him.

I thought to myself is my DH shooting blanks..............
Im confused , i asked him about he said that they were going to check my levels through my blood which they did and they would call me tomorrow and not to worry they would re check my mucus and his semen.

does anybody have advice or any clue what could have went wrong?

sorry to hear about this!   are you currently on any fertility meds (drugs esp clomid can dry up cervical mucus) but many times its just a cervical mucus issue, or sometimes there can be a male factor to it too (has he had a semen analysis yet?)   sometimes ph imblanaces in the cervical mucus can be "hostile" to the semen... IUI can fix the problem though! it bypasses the vaginal environement which may be harsh for the semen.. i'd make sure your dh is tested and then talk to your RE .. if you dotn' want to go to IUI, then i have heard preseed can help with the vaginal environement make it easier for the semen to swim to the target and get preg!   GOOD LUCK!
