"norethisterone" Is BCP taken to get back missed period.
Hi,
Is "norethisterone" tablet taken to regulate irregular or missed period. it contains progestron hormone i think.
I was suppose to start my IUI this month but i missed the period and its not prgnancy so to force bleed me instead os waiting my Dr. prescribed this tablet.
Has anyone used it. When i search on net it shows that it is a birth controlling pill ...so are they same i mean also used to gt period?

call the pharmacist and ask him how it's suppose to work.   It could contain hormes in BCP.   You notice when you stop taking BCP you get your period. Maybe it's a higher dose than regular BCP.
