not getting excited yet, but need opinions about BFP...

I was trying to confirm that the trigger was gone or almost gone.  It has only been 8 days, and I was TRYING to wait until at least 9-10 days, but tonight I caved - making it exactly 8 days past trigger.  

The funny thing is, I didn't use FMU.  I tested at 7pm and was actually thinking as I was peeing that it was a waste cuz I had drank so much water that my pee was very diluted, so I expected to get a BFN no matter what.  

I was only trying to make sure the trigger was gone, because I'd rather see a positive AFTER a negative for that reason.  You can imagine my shock given the circumstances, when my FRER was VERY much positive!  I mean, it's not super dark or anything, but I can see it plain as day - I don't need to squint or hold it up to the light or anything!   From any angle, any distance (even far away) - I can see it!

WTF???  Given the time of day and the amount I drank, I didn't expect to see anything.  It seems odd that I'm only 2 days away from when the HCG is supposed to be gone from my system, yet I have a VERY DEFINITIVE BFP

Like I said, I'm not getting excited at all yet (well, maybe a teeny tiny bit!) but I just wanted to get everyone's thoughts.  Has anyone had it take more than 10 days to clear the trigger, or had a strong bfp 8 days after the trigger?

I'm just wondering if I had a quick implantation (and maybe twins!) that it's a combo of the last bit of trigger and the very beginnings of something else???  Who knows! ;o)

Test after couple of days and see. I am not sure if 7 days past IUI is too early.  I think it is BPP!!!! Good luck!!!

The first time I had a trigger it was gone after 9dpo. The second time I was 11dpo before it left my system - same amount both times. Good luck!!

Isn't it nice to see two lines??  I took a HPT 8DPtrigger and it was positive ... I'm sure it is different for each person...GOOD LUCK!!  We are in the same boat though - 7 days past ovulation.  I have been nauseous...don't know what that means.  No one has answered my post.

Are you taking any progesterone supplements?  They can make you nauseous, otherwise I don't know what it could be from.

I'm 9DPIUI and I want to test sooooo bad!!! The last few nights and some mornings I have been a bit nauseated....I'm also 10D post trigger. I know after 7 days (before now) the trigger is out of my system. I hope this is it for you hun!!! Wouldn't that be sooooooooooooooo freakin awesome if we both got BFP's together????

oh please be careful, it was out of my system within 7 days except one time after My IU it was 13 days, I got a bfp and as thrilled, took another test the next day and it ws a BFN. not trying to burst your bubble,. just be careful.

false alarm ladies - tested again this morning with FMU and it's almost gone.  In fact, I'm quite shocked at how much difference there was from just 12 hours before!  It went from very visable line to almost nothing at all!

I'm a bit relieved frankly.  This early the only way I could see it being conceivable that something was showing up was if there were MANY babies in there!  So, as long as the line comes back I'm fine with it.  Sorry to have jumped the gun! :o)

I'll probably TRY to wait now until Monday or even Tuesday before testing again.

ALT this is all your fault lol! - I went to Wally World and bought a 5 pack of digi tests!!!
Of course BFN, but I'm only 9DPIUI, but also thanks to you, I now know the trigger is truly out of my system. My beta isn't until next Thursday (that's so far away....!). Maybe I'll test Monday or Tuesday with you :-)  ((HUGS!!))

haha I'm sorry!  But you're right - at least now if you get a positive there will be no question if it's the trigger.  That's why I was testing to begin with!  I still can't get over how positive it was last night though.  Very strange.... it better come back!! :o)  

So we REALLY are neck and neck!  Your IUI was a day before mine, yet our betas are the same day!  Mine is Thursday too!  I go at 9am.  I'm hoping to have my own answer before then - I can't take it!  I did fine the first week, but now that I'm in the home stretch I'm really losing it!  

I suppose the only thing to help keep me from testing FMU is I usually get up around 4-5am to pee in the night, and I've always wondered if that's too early to qualify as "FMU" when I go to bed around 1-2am.  So last night I KEPT waking up like "what time is it?? Is it late enough to test yet?"  and then I'd have to try to fall back to sleep holding in my pee!  And then when I tested at 7am I couldn't get back to sleep!  I remember that happening every other time too so at least if I want a good night's sleep I won't be as tempted to test!

Let me know how your testing goes!  I have a feeling this is it for both of us!

I am sorry that the trigger is messing up with your emotions.  I hope your next FRER test is a definite bfp!!

ALT: Lol you crack me up!! It's so awesome that we are so close!!! The IUI went REALLY great this time - DH's count is finally up nad it was 30 million at 99% motility. I just don't see how it couldn't work you know? I also took 50mg Clomid again. I had 2 follies and I know for sure one ruptured :-) I think we should make a pact to both test on the same day with FMU and no sooner than that lol! I think my beta is at 8am...
I will pray real hard for you and keep my fx crossed!!! Please do the same for me lol!!!

was it FRER? Those things are so sensitive, the test positive for the tiny tiniest amounts.  Try not to test again till 10dpIUI... If you get a positive at 10dpIUI, I would call it good BFP.
