i am 36 years old and my cycle has been on a regular 28 days for the past 3 months. i had sex on the 18th of the month and my period was due on the 25th.it is now 2 days late.could i be pregnant and if so when should i do a test?

If you miss your periods then you can test 1 week- 10 days after you miss your periods or you can test for pregnancy by a highly sensitive pregnancy test 10 days post ovulation with a sensitive ( 20 - 25 mIU ) pregnancy test. Also I would suggest you to get your serum HCG levels estimated since this is more specific than urine for pregnancy tests. The HCG (it is a hormone) levels rise only in pregnancy and its presence will confirm the status of your pregnancy.

u ovulate 14 days before af us due. so if u are always dead on then u should have ovulated on the 11th.  did u have sex on the 11th?
