on clomid but 56 days since my last period

i started 50mg of clomid at the beginning of october but now i havent had a period for 56 days i done a pregnancy test about a week ago and it was negative is this normal ?
i have used clomid before and had twins but didnt have problems like this

i would definately follow up with your doctor who prescribed clomid..number one to rule out pregnancy with blood work..also number two because you are supposed to be watched closely with either blood work or ultra sound...or most times both....i dont know if you havent followed up with your doctor ...or he is unprofessional not to be monitoring you...but either way i would make an appointment ...i also dont know your history with afterflow...but in my case i had to go on provera to bleed...and then clomid to ovulate...maybe your system is off and you need a provera like drug...good luck.

i contacted my gyno and all i got was the nurse/receptionist and was told to wait till my next appointment and thats january 29th she didn't seem to care that i wasn't having a period just dont know what to do now

oh i would call back and be somewhat persistant...i dont understand how your doc gave you a presciption for clomid in  late september (since you said you started in early october).....and then didnt want to see you till almost february....did you cancel the follow up appointments with him? if not you need to find a doc who is gonna see you monthly and closely monitor you...

my doctor gave me 3 months supply of clomid and blood test forms for 21 day blood tests i saw him in sept 21st my first appointment and he said to take clomid on day 2 to day 7 and start on my next period what started end of sept do u think i should do another pregnancy test?

well maybe to ease your mind...do a pregnany test...are you having any symptoms? but i know when i was seeing my obgyn...and he gave me clomid for a few months... i had to come in every month for an ultrasound...one reason to make sure i dont develop cysts...unfortunately i did...but every moth he had to measure them to check if they got enlarged....

Yes, my dr. had me come in on cd 21 each month for prog. check and each month on the first day of my cycle.  Now cycle 3 he also has me come in on cycle day 3 - 10 - 12 and 21.  So, your doc. doesn't seem to be on the ball.  I'd be very persistant and insist on coming in earlier or change drs.  Best of luck.

when you did clomid the last time and got prego with twins, after the last clomid pill. when did you Ovulate? Saturday was my last pill day, i am going to check today is that too soon?  my next day to check is on tuesday.  i was just wondering what worked for you?

Clomid can give you a false positive OPK.  You should wait at least 3 days after your last clomid pill to start using OPK.  Also note that clomid can make you ovulate later relative to when you typically expect. See:

as far as i know im not ovulating yet as i wont know till my next appointment
i got pregnant with twins after 2 months of clomid on the 3rd month i wasnt on clomid thats when i fell pregnant think it  kick started my body lol all the info ive found on clomid so far i havent read one story where a woman has gone with out  period as long as me
