opk question

This is my first month using OPK and temping I don't know if I might have missed my surge here is what has been happening
cd9 opk neg(quit dark though) temp 97.6
cd10 opk neg (darker almost as dark as control line) temp 97.6
cd11 opk neg(lighter then day before) temp 97.6
cd12 opk neg (still lighter then cd10) temp 97.6
cd13 opk neg (still quit light) temp 97.2
cd14 opk neg (still light) temp 97.6
cd15 opk neg (light) temp97.5
cd 16 opk neg (light almost no line) temp 97.5
cd 17 opk neg (light line) temp 97.9
cd 18 (today) opk neg (a little darker still light) temp 97.6

Since my m/c in jan I have had irregular periods it has been
27-32 day cycles.I did notice some cm on cd 10 or 11 and spotted on cd13 and 14. I have only 1 opk left,should I buy more or do you think I might have just missed my surge.

I am not toally sure but looking at your temps it does not look like you ovulated yet.  If it were me, I would go buy another pack and keep checking.  I know when I was using opks just when I thought I had missed it, a couple days later I would get a very definite positive.  You should see a definite temperature rise a day or two after the LH surge.  Keep trying!!  Good luck!

I agree that I dont see a great thermal shift that indicates ovulation. It is a good idea to do OPK's twice a day because you can definatly miss your peak on those tricky little things. I do mine at 11 am and 8 pm, just a thought  : )

Are you using any charting software, if not definatly try www.fertilityfriend.com

it is free, easy and makes it WAAAAYYYYY easier to see when you ovulated. It also allows you to document your cervical mucus and position

Thanks for your responses I did get a positive opk this am and it was way darker then control line within 5 minutes,my temp this am went down to 97.4,so I will continue to temp and should I still use opk's for a few more days?
