Sorry, I should have used a slash between the two. They're the same. RE is just the official name. Good luck this month!

Thanks,  I will try one cycle of clomid because I don't think I have a problem ovulating because I already have 2 children I just am not sure if it's happening every month these days, maybe I just need a boost!  Which would you say first Reproductive endocrinologist or fertility specialist?

I would go with 5-9, since that's what your doctor prescribed. It really doesn't make that much of a difference. As for cycle days, CD1 is the first day of your period (first day of regular flow). I am a bit curious, though, are you just seeing a regular obgyn? If so, I would highly recommend moving on to an RE (Reproductive Endocrinologist...or fertility specialist). Unfortunately, it gets more challenging to get pregnant as we move into that "advanced maternal age" group, and since you're in your 40s, I wouldn't waste too many cycles on just clomid and BD without knowing if you actually ovulate. Plus, an RE would be able to treat you a bit more aggressively, if you prefer, plus monitor your cycles. Best of luck with everything!
